Hotel Policies

Booking terms and conditions

You must be 21 or over to make a reservation.

To make a reservation, you must provide a valid credit card from which 50% of the total cost of your stay will be deducted. The balance of the stay will be paid upon departure. Invoices will be sent to you by e-mail.

The credit card used to make the reservation must match the name on the reservation form. Once on site, we reserve the right to ask for proof of identity.

Our rates are subject to change and are eligible for the Quebec tax system as well as the Quebec lodging tax.

All our rooms have a single bed and a maximum capacity of 2 people.

Cancellation policy

Reservations may be cancelled or changed without penalty 21 days or more before your scheduled arrival date.

Cancellations made 20 days or less before the arrival date are subject to a fee of 50% of the total of your reservation.

Cancellations made 0 days prior to the arrival date or less no-shows are subject to a fee of 100% of the total of your reservation.

Once you have checked in, if you decide to leave before your registered departure date, no refund will be made on the total amount of the stay booked.

Parking policy

Hôtel Floriel offers you one free parking space per room for the duration of your stay. By using the Hôtel Floriel parking lot, you assume full responsibility.

Hotel Floriel takes no responsibility for parking, vehicles or personal items inside vehicles.

Animal policy

No animals are allowed at the Hotel Floriel or on its property, except for guide dogs and assistance dogs, and we reserve the right to request identification and proof of training.

Any breach of this condition will result in a fixed non-refundable fee of $300.00+tx. and any additional damage or cleaning caused by the breach of this policy will be charged to your credit card.

Alcohol policy

Since the Hôtel Floriel holds a liquor license issued by the RACJ, any alcoholic beverage consumed at the Hôtel Floriel must be sold by the Hôtel Floriel and consumed in the areas dedicated to such purposes.

You must be at least 18 years old to consume alcoholic beverages, and we reserve the right to ask for proof of identity.

We reserve the right to refuse to serve or sell alcoholic beverages to anyone at any time.

Smoke-free politics

Hotel Floriel is a 100% smoke-free establishment. It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the hotel and in the rooms, either using traditional methods or with any electronic device. Any breach of this condition or strong odor in the rooms that would allow us to have a reasonable doubt about the non-respect of this condition, will result in a fixed non-refundable fee of $300.00+tx. and all costs associated with restoring the space in question to its original state or additional cleaning will be charged to your credit card.

Parcel handling policy

There is a parcel handling charge for all incoming and outgoing parcels. Please contact the hotel directly for exact costs.

Customer safety

For security reasons, we never disclose the identity, room number or presence of our customers at the Hôtel Floriel, except when requested by a mandated authority. It is the customer's responsibility to divulge this information if they wish to notify someone.

Hotel Floriel is in no way responsible for incidents occurring on its premises, causing injury or other damage.

The Hotel Floriel accepts no responsibility for any breakage, damage or theft of personal belongings. Each room is equipped with a security safe.

Security cameras are located in common areas and outside the building.

We accept guests in the common areas only, until 10:00 pm. Guests take full responsibility for their invitations and access. We reserve the right to refuse guests or ask them to leave if their presence disrupts the stay of other Floriel Hotel guests.

Damage and accidents

Any damage, breakage or theft you cause in your room or common areas will be charged to your credit card at the market value of the item concerned.

In the event of breakage or damage already existing in your room, you must notify us immediately to avoid being held responsible.

To ensure your comfort during your stay, we have selected only quality items, both in the common areas and in your room. Items must remain in the hotel and in the room, and since rooms are inspected only after your departure, we reserve the right to charge your credit card for any broken, damaged or missing items.
